Log Characteristics

The current commercial supply is based on plantation logs with the following profile:

• Diameter (DBH): 30–40 cm (primary commercial range)

• Log length: 2.2–2.6 m (standard), up to 3.0+ m

Logs are classified in standard industrial dimensions suitable for large-scale processing.
